Nearly all  private health insurers cover Osteopathy in their extras tables. You can claim on the spot refunds through your insurance using Hicaps.

Your refund depends on your level of "extras cover" .

Some people with chronic and complex conditions are eligible for osteopathy under Medicare through the Enhanced Primary Care Scheme. An EPC referral is needed from your General Practitioner which will give you a Medicare rebate claimable for up to 5 osteopathic treatments per year.

Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents Insurance Board and Department of Veteran’s claims accepted if eligible.
